101	Sefer Tzachos is a sefer on Hebrew grammar by one of our great Rishonim, Rabeinu Avraham Ibn Ezra. Sefer Tzachos deals with linguistic correctnessand contains a brief outline of modern Hebrew meter. This edition comes with the commentary of Rav Gavriel Hirsch Lipman, a student of Rav Avraham Binyomin Hamburg, who was the Rav of Fuerth in Germany, a colleague of the Chasam Sofer and the rebbi of Rabbi Bamberger.

103	Sefer Yisodei HaTevuna uMigdal HaEmunah is an encyclopedic work about the subjects of arithmetic, geometry, optics, astronomy, and music, written by Rabeinu Avraham Bar Chiya HaNasi Savasorda, the author of Hegayon HaNefesh (#51). This work is incomplete because only fragments of this sefer have survived the ages. This is the second edition of this sefer which comes with a introduction and a Spanish translation, by Prof. Vallicrosa. The Hebrew original is in the back of the book.

104	Shlosha Sifrei Dikduk is a compendium of three separate seforim, written by an early Rishon, Rabeinu Yehudah Ibn Chayug, known as the Father of Hebrew Grammar. The three seforim are: 1) Sefer Osiyos HaNach VeHaMeshech - The Book of Latent and Lengthening Letters 2) Sefer Poalei HaKefel - The Book of Verbs Containing Double Letters 3) Sefer HaNikkud - The Book of Punctuation All three of these works have been written in Arabic and then translated into Hebrew. The first two were translated by R' Moshe Ibn Gikatilla, and the last one by R' Avraham Ibn Ezra. This edition, by Prof. Nutt, comes with notes, English introduction and translation of all three works plus the original Arabic text of Sefer HaNikkud.

106	Diaries of Sir Moses and Lady Montefiore is a fascinating book written by one of the greatest Jewish philantropists of the 19th century and possibly ever. Moses Montefiore was a religious Jew who dedicated the majority of his long life (he lived to be 101 years old) to the cause of saving and improving the lives of Jews all over the world. He traveled to Eretz Yisrael 7 times during his life and established many new neighborhoods there, such as Yemin Moshe with the famous windmill. He was close friends with many great Rabbis of the time, such as the Malbim, whom he saved from prison, Rav Shmuel Salant, Rav Yitzchok Elchanan Spektor and many others. The diary is full of adventures, stories and personal accounts of many great events that greatly affected the Jewish world. This diary, parts of which have been written by Moses Montefiore and parts of which were written by his wife Judith, is edited by his best friend and secretary Dr. Eliezer Levy (L. Loewe), who accompanied Montefiore on many trips. This is the first and only edition of this book.

107	Sefer HaGalui is written by one of our great early Rishonim, Rabeinu Yoseph Kimchi, the father of the Radak. It was written as a response to Sefer HaKraos (The Book of Decisions), written by Rabeinu Tam, who tried to settle the dispute regarding the rules of Hebrew grammar between Dunash Ben Labrat and Menachem Ben Saruk, in which Rabeinu Tam adopted the views of Menachem Ben Saruk. In Sefer HaGalui, R' Yoseph Kimchi defends the opinions of Dunash Ben Labrat. The sefer is divided into two parts. The first part discusses the differences between Menachem and Dunash and the second contains various arguments on Sefer HaKraos. This is the first and only edition of this sefer edited by Prof. Henry Mathews, and it comes with footnotes by Rabeinu Binyamin, whose exact identity is not clear.

108	The Improvement of the Moral Qualities is an English translation of the great ethical work, known as Tikkun Middos HaNefesh, written by one of our great Rishonim, Rabeinu Shlomo Ibn Gabirol. This work discusses the parallel between the universe and man. In particular it goes through 20 personal character traits and assigns each to one of the five senses: pride, meekness, modesty, and impudence are related to the sense of sight; love, mercy, hate, and cruelty, to the sense of hearing; anger, goodwill, envy, and diligence, to the sense of smell; joy, anxiety, contentedness, and regret, to the sense of taste; and generosity, stinginess, courage, and cowardice, to the sense of touch. This is the first and only English translation of this sefer with inroduction and notes by Prof. Wise. This edition includes the original Arabic text.

This edition is in 2 volumes. The first volumes contains the poems and the second volume has the commentary by Bialik and Ravnitzky, the editors of this edition.

121	This sefer is a collection of poems by one of our great Rishonim, Rabeinu Shlomo Ibn Gabirol, the author of the Mekor Chaim (#65), and one of the greatest poets of the Jewish people. This edition is in 5 volumes and is the most comprehensive edition of Ibn Gabirol's poetry to date. The edition contains (Vol. 3, p. 62) his largest and most famous poem, Keser Malchus, which is a part of the Sefardi Machzor for Rosh HaShana and Yom Kippur. This poem reflects Ibn Gabirol's philosophy presented in Mekor Chaim. Volumes 1, 3 and the first half of 5, contain the poems and volumes 2, 4 and the second half of 5, have the commentary by Bialik and Ravnitzky, the editors of this edition.

This sefer is a grammatical work in which R' Yoseph Kimchi introduced the concept of five long and five short vowels, presented the pilel and the hofal as distinct verb forms, indicated eight verb classes, and provided a list of nominal verb forms. This is the first and only edition of this sefer.

123	A Descriptive Geography and Brief Historical Sketch of Palestine is a translation of the Hebrew original, Tevuos HaAretz, by Rabbi Yoseph Schwartz, who traveled and settled in Eretz Yisrael, in the mid 1800s. This sefer deals with the borders of Eretz Yisrael, its topography, the division of the land into the sections of the Tribes, the genealogy of the people, geographical names in the Tanach, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount. It also includes chapters on the flora and fauna, climate, and the earthquakes of the country and a section about the History of Eretz Yisrael after the destruction of the Second Temple. This is the first edition of this work, translated by Rabbi Isaac Lesser.

124	The Faith of Israel, is a philosophical work, written in English in defense of Judaism, by Rabbi Tobias Goodman, who was a Rav in London at the beginning of the 19th century. He is famous for being the first Rabbi in England who delivered sermons in English in the Synagogue. This sefer is the first of its kind, and was written to protect Judaism among Jews from Christians and Reformists. This is the first and only edition of this sefer. It was privately published by the author on the money donated to him by the great Moses Montefiore, tho whom a letter of thanks is printed in the front of the book.

125	Bechinas Olam, known in English as Investigation of Causes, is a didactic poem written by one of the great Rishonim, Rabeinu Yedayah HaPenini Bedersi, after the expulsion of the Jews from France in 1306. It is philosophical in context and discusses the nature of the human soul. This edition by Rabbi Tobias Goodman, comes with the one and only English translation of this work as well as the original Hebrew text side-by-side.
